To win the regional competition, Wilson/Magellan Middle School beat out 25 other teams from ten different schools. The irony is that this was the first year Wilson/Magellan Middle School tried out for the Science Bowl.

“We’re so incredibly proud of how our students competed and handled themselves at the Regional Science Bowl. They performed beyond our wildest dreams, taking on stiff competition despite this being their first year as a team,” remarked Science Teacher and Coach Abigail Karrels. “Their dedication, hard work, and passion for science have truly paid off. We are excited to represent Wisconsin at the National Competition and are eager to continue our journey towards the national title.”
