PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) – Two women from Wisconsin were arrested on Wednesday after they were identified as suspects in a fatal hit-and-run on April 27.
The Pleasant Prairie Police Department reported that a 34-year-old and a 26-year-old woman were arrested. The 34-year-old woman faces a charge of hit and run causing death. The 26-year-old faces a charge of harboring/aiding a felon.

Both women are from Pleasant Prairie, and the vehicle involved was found and is being processed by officials. The hit-and-run occurred around 10:23 p.m. on April 27, when officers responded to a reportedly injured person in the road near the 8900 block of Old Green Bay Road.
The person was found on the road with serious injuries, as officers provided medical aid until they were taken by an ambulance to a landing pad. The victim was airlifted to Froedtert Milwaukee Hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
The investigation revealed the two women as suspects, who are both awaiting initial court appearances. No additional details were provided.
