On Monday, the NFL confirmed that the Packers will travel to Chicago for a Saturday matchup with the Bears in Week 16 on Saturday, December 20. On Tuesday morning, a playoff rematch was announced between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Packers for Monday Night Football in week 10 on November 10. The Packers will look to avenge two losses in this one after losing to the Eagles last year in Brazil to start the season and in the Wildcard Round of the playoffs to end the season.
On Wednesday, per Fox Sports NFL Insider Jordan Shultz, the Packers are expected to open the 2025 season at home against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, September 7, at 3:25 p.m. If/when confirmed, this would be the first time the Packers start the season at Lambeau Field since 2018.
This would also be the first time they kick off the season at home against Detroit since 2001. The last time they played the Lions in Week 1 was at Ford Field in 2005.
