The wind stays, the dry weather doesn’t

From Storm Team 5…

The endless wind continues. This has been a very windy and gusty period as we transition out of winter and into spring — and we will find ourselves in a wind tunnel right through Tuesday.

A weak cool front (wind shift line) will move through Monday evening bringing a line of light showers. Expect the wet weather to exit as we head into early Tuesday.

Tuesday will be yet again another windy day and mild day with highs in the mid 60s. Another cold front will drop in Tuesday afternoon and will bring in a few showers and t-storms. This cold front will be the reason we trade the 60s for the 40s on Wednesday. The good news is, as Canadian high pressure glides through – the wind will take a break — for at least a day or two.

Expect more wind and rain to arrive on Friday.
