The Fox Valley Veterans Council hosting a Prohibition Ball where Johnny Depp shot “Public Enemies”

OSHKOSH, WI (WFRV) -The Fox Valley Veterans’s council is hosting a first-of-its-kind event. They are hosting a prohibition ball to raise money for veteran’s services all across northeast Wisconsin.

Local 5 recently caught up with the organizer, a Local 5 Hometown Hero, to learn more about the 1920s-themed party.

“We’re going to have casino tables and a historical reenactor who is going to play a gangster,” explained Tim Cody, an Army Veteran and President of The Fox Valley Veterans Council. “And different levels of tickets, including a speakeasy vault for our VIP tickets. It’s just going to be a really good night.”

The event on March 7th will be Venue 404 in Oshkosh.

That is the same building where actor Johnny Depp filmed the movie “Public Enemies.”

Standard tickets include an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, jazz music by Kate Voss and the Water City Jazz Orchestra, speaker Brian Eisch, and casino games.

VIP tickets include Valet Parking, exclusive access to Prohibition Vault open bar, top shelf liquor (Including signature drink “The Dog Father”), hors d’oeuvres, jazz music by Kate Voss and the Water City Jazz Orchestra, extra casino chips, and meet guest speaker Brian Eisch.

Also, they have some free sponsored tickets available for veterans too, and taking nominations.

The Fox Valley Veterans Council is a 501c3 nonprofit organization headquartered in Appleton.

The agency also assists veteran families, connects them to resources and opportunities, and honors their life and sacrifice.
