The latest Northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
After our first bigger severe threat of the season yesterday, it was nice to turn quieter and even see some sunshine throughout this afternoon! Last night’s system did bring a confirmed EF-0 tornado up in Mattoo with winds up to 80mph. While others stayed away from tornadic activity, heavy rain was still accumulated:
Our stormy system has moved further eastward today, and this system had a cold front attached to it. This cold front is not only pushing in more severe weather for the Ohio Valley, but also pushed in a gusty northwest wind for us today. The gusty northerly winds brought in falling temps for us throughout today, and got rid of any humidity we had from yesterday! Overnight, temps continue to fall and lows tomorrow morning cool all the way back into the 20s and 30s. We keep cooling through Thursday before a warmer stretch heading into May.
High pressure is building in for this evening which will help get rid of any clouds tonight, and we will stay clear and quiet through this morning.
Most of tomorrow is quiet with clouds slowly increasing through the evening which brings a very small and unlikely rain chance later tomorrow.
A better rain chance is in store for Thursday before a quiet weekend ahead!
