Teen arrested in connection to shots fired incident in Wisconsin

BELOIT, Wis. (WFRV) – A 17-year-old has been arrested following a shots fired incident that occurred in Beloit on April 26.

According to the Beloit Police Department, officers responded around 7:30 p.m. to the 600 block of Portland Avenue after receiving reports of gunfire. Evidence of the shooting was found at the scene, but no injuries were reported.

The department’s Violent Crime Interdiction Team took over the investigation and, on April 30, arrested Carl Mance in connection to the incident. He was taken into custody on multiple charges, including three counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, attempted robbery while armed, juvenile in possession of a firearm, and resisting arrest.

A firearm was also recovered during the arrest.
