Report: Packers sign former Minnesota Vikings kicker

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Packers have reportedly signed a new kicker who will look to compete with incumbent Anders Carlson.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Green Bay Packers are signing kicker Greg Joseph. Joseph previously kicked for the Minnesota Vikings.

In 2023, Joseph went 24 for 30 on field goals and 36 for 38 on extra points. For his career, he has gone 100 for 121 on field goals (82.6%) and 146 for 162 (90.1%) on extra points.

For comparison, Packers kicker Anders Carlson went 27 for 33 on field goals and 34 for 39 on extra points in 2023. Carlson was drafted in the 6th round of the 2023

In addition to the Vikings, Joseph has played for the Cleveland Browns and Tennesse Titans.
