Poll shows Trump continues leading Biden by small margin in Wisconsin

(WFRV) – A new Emerson College Polling/The Hill survey of Wisconsin voters finds 46.9% support Donald Trump and 45% support Joe Biden in the 2024 Presidential Election.

Updated on Tuesday, officials released information regarding several different polls.

Between a vote of Biden, Trump, and undecided, Biden took home 45% of the vote, Trump took 46.9%, and 8.1% were undecided. Of the 8.1% undecided, 57.6% would lean Trump, compared to 42.4% of Biden.

Thirty-nine percent of voters approve of President Joe Biden’s job in office, while 52.1% disapprove. 8.9% feel neutral on the topic.

In a hypothetical 2024 Presidential Election matchup between Biden, Trump, Robert Kennedy, Cornel West, and Jill Stein, Trump leads the way with 44.7% of the vote. Joe Biden trails with 40.4% while Robert Kennedy earned 6.4%. West and Stein each received less than 1% of the votes. 7% voted undecided.

The poll also highlights Governor Tony Evers, with 44.6% approving of his job in office compared to 42.2%. 13.2% are undecided.

Tammy Baldwin is up for reelection and is challenged by Republican Eric Hovde. In a hypothetical vote between the two, Baldwin leads 46.3% to 42.8%, with 10.8% undecided.

38.3% of Wisconsin voters consider the economy the most important issue, followed by threats to democracy (10.8%), immigration (9.1%), abortion access (8.7%), healthcare (8.5%), education (7.9%), housing affordability (6.5%), and crime (6%).
