NFL Flag teams from across U.S. compete at Lambeau Field Super Regional

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Packers welcomed dozens of NFL Flag Football teams to Lambeau Field on Friday for a special kickoff event ahead of the NFL Flag Super Regional Tournament.

A total of 55 teams are registered to compete in divisions including 8u, 10u, 10u Rec, 12u, 12u Rec, 12u Girls, 14u, 14u Girls, and High School Girls. Teams traveled from across the country, including states like Wisconsin, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, and Texas.

Friday’s event featured team introductions, photos with Packers offensive lineman Rasheed Walker, a skills challenge, and an outdoor movie to close out the evening.

Participants also had the opportunity to play on the Packers’ official practice fields, with tournament games taking place on Ray Nitschke Field and inside the Don Hutson Center.

Winners of each division will earn a bid to the NFL Flag Championship in Canton, Ohio this July. Each winning team will also receive a $5,000 travel stipend from the Packers.
