Neenah Menasha Emergency Society hosts “Kitchen Tour”

NEENAH Wis. (WFRV) – The Neenah Menasha Emergency Society hosted its 15th annual “Kitchen Tour.”

The event features multiple homes and allows the society to raise money for those in need. Funds from the event will benefit individuals without shelter.

Vice President Sue Larson says the organization enjoys providing for those less fortunate.

“It’s a need that’s in our community, and being involved, we’ve learned so much about what our community needs, and all money is raised for our community. Every cent we make, we give back,” explained Larson.

The society has more than 30 members, and Larson encourages more to give back to their community.

“People come to us for help, and we help them, and that’s very rewarding. People are always welcome to join us. There is always something to do, so we can all work together as volunteers,” stated Larson.

The “Kitchen Tour” is the organization’s one and only fundraiser this year.
