Kaukauna hosts 6th Annual Breaking Boundaries Triathlon

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – Kaukauna High School proudly hosted the sixth annual Breaking Boundaries Triathlon, a special event designed to celebrate and support students with disabilities.

The triathlon gave students from Kaukauna, Kimberly, and Little Chute High Schools a chance to push their limits through swimming, biking, and running or walking, all with the support of peer mentors and staff.

The course began at the Heart of the Valley YMCA and continued along the CE Trail, finishing at the Bank of Kaukauna Stadium. Students kicked off the day with a send-off at Kaukauna High School, followed by the National Anthem at the YMCA pool.

This triathlon isn’t just about physical activity, it’s about building confidence, connection, and inclusion. The event’s mission is to promote healthy lifestyles while helping each student grow socially, emotionally, and physically.

The vision is clear: to create awareness, understanding, and acceptance for students of all abilities across the Fox Valley.
