Illinois man flees from Wisconsin police two consecutive days, rolls vehicle several times

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) – A man from Illinois reportedly attempted to flee from Wisconsin police officers on two consecutive days, with the second attempt ending in a rollover crash that sent him to the hospital.

According to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, a 38-year-old Waukegan man had to be extricated from his car after it rolled over several times when he lost control of it during a pursuit.

Officers say the incident took place sometime on Friday night, however, it was noted that the 38-year-old was also wanted for allegedly fleeing from police sometime on Thursday.

The driver was flown to a Milwaukee hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers say he will be facing multiple felony charges as a result of the incident.

The Kenosha Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted the Pleasant Prairie Police Department.
