Green Bay hosts local ‘No Kings’ protest against President Trump & military parade

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Over 1,500 ‘No Kings’ rallies and marches were held nationwide on Saturday to protest the actions of President Donald Trump and his administration on the day of a military parade in Washington, D.C.

Protesters in and around Green Bay gathered at Leicht Memorial Park around 5 p.m. for one of the over 50 planned ‘No Kings’ protests in Wisconsin, with attendees across downtown Green Bay.

The ‘No Kings’ official website called for a ‘day of defiance’ in the following statement:

“No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like.”

Local protesters brought flags and chanted, as countless individuals lined the sidewalks around downtown Green Bay, spreading their message, along with posters with written messages and drawings.
