Body found in Lake Michigan, Wisconsin authorities investigating

KENOSHA, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin are investigating an incident after they say a body was found in the waters of Lake Michigan Sunday evening.

According to a release from the Kenosha Police Department, officers responded at 4:55 p.m. to Eichelman Park on 6135 3rd Avenue for reports of a body discovered in Lake Michigan.

Police say the body was recovered from the water by 8:54 p.m. and Eichelman Park was reopened.

They report the body has since been turned over to the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office.
