KENOSHA, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin are investigating an incident after they say a body was found in the waters of Lake Michigan Sunday evening.
According to a release from the Kenosha Police Department, officers responded at 4:55 p.m. to Eichelman Park on 6135 3rd Avenue for reports of a body discovered in Lake Michigan.

Police say the body was recovered from the water by 8:54 p.m. and Eichelman Park was reopened.
They report the body has since been turned over to the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office.
At this time, no other information is available and more details are expected to be released soon as the investigation into the incident continues.
