APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – History has been made in Northeast Wisconsin. For the very first time, high school teams in the Northeast Wisconsin area have created a girls’ flag football league.
Although it only spans three weeks and five to six games per team, it’s a chance to showcase the sport on an organized level.

The six teams participating are Appleton West, Appleton East, Appleton North, Weyauwega-Fremont, Amherst, and Xavier. The final two dates remaining on the schedule are May 16 and May 31.
