GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Packers exceeded expectations in 2023, meaning the team wants even more this season.
In the season premiere of Green Bay Nation, Local 5 Sports’ Kyle Malzhan filled in for Ryan Wood and joined Lauren Helmbrecht and Marques Eversoll. Wood joined the team in Brazil but still had a chance to discuss the team’s new defense and Jordan Love’s contract.
Next, the Green Bay Nation team broke down the Packers’ matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, September 6, and debated which rookies would make an immediate impact on the roster.
Local 5’s Cam Ezeir went into the locker room for In the Zone to hear how the Packers players who traveled to London in 2022 learned from that international playing experience. Then, Lauren, Kyle, and Marques discussed the difficulty of flying 10 hours for a game.
For Challenge or No Challenge, presented by Bayside Machine Corporation, Lauren made some pronounced predictions about Week 1, including rookie starting jobs, and Kyle and Marques had an opportunity to throw the challenge flag like Matt LaFleur.
