Officials say while the family was able to escape the home without any injuries, two pets died in the fire, and the home, including all of the contents inside the home, was left a total loss.
The family reportedly did not have homeowners insurance and are in need of the community’s help.
Authorities say the Red Cross is assisting the family with their immediate needs and a GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family get back on their feet with basic long-term needs.
