The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
It seems like winter is locked in again as we had some snow during the morning Monday, now we will experience some chillier air today. Two more rounds of accumulating snow loom in the distance this week – Wednesday night into early Thursday – then another batch on Saturday which could be the bigger of the two.
The round of snow on Wednesday could bring some communities 1 to 3 inches of snow, with the higher end of that range over the north. Just about 1 inch or less is the prediction for the Fox Valley and southern counties for now. Stay tuned for updates.
Today, partly cloudy with some sunshine in the morning, then mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Winds will go down later today which will improve the wind chills following this chilly morning. The high is 19 degrees.
Tonight, mostly cloudy in the evening with some thinner clouds overnight. The low is 11 degrees. Single digits over the north.
Filtered morning sun will give way to increasing clouds for the afternoon again Wednesday. Highs go up to 30 degrees. Plan on snow showers or a wintry mix (south) in the evening and overnight.
Thursday, snow showers will exit early in the morning, then it’s going to be a very windy day. Gusts could be 40+ mph. The high is 33 degrees.
Cool and breezy Friday with a high of 22 degrees.
The next snow maker is set for Saturday with a high of 27 degrees.
Breezy with emerging sunshine on Sunday with a high of 24 degrees.
