The latest from Storm Team 5…
Friday evening will remain on the warmer side with dry skies but we do see clouds build as we head into the overnight hours with a very slight chance of a slight chance for a quick passing sprinkle. Lows tonight only drop into the mid 40s so there are no concerns for frost.
Saturday will see some brief spring showers that stay on the lighter side. Saturday night drops into the mid to upper 30s so frost concerns return, this will be the case for overnight hours until Tuesday. Saturday is slightly cooler with highs in the lower 60s.
Mothers Day can see a chance for some very light, quick passing sprinkles. The day will also be on the cooler side with highs only reaching the mid to upper 50s. The evening will quickly cool once again as lows drop to near freezing conditions in the overnight.
Monday leads us into the new work week with even cooler temps in the mid 50s and mostly sunny skies. Tuesday is the next chance for rain with highs in the lower 50s. Wednesday starts a warming pattern with highs dipping back into the 60s with partly cloudy skies that will persist into Thursday with highs in the mid 60s. Trends show that we could potentially see temperatures reach to nearly 80 degrees for that next weekend!
