OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials in Oshkosh are still on the scene of a fire reported at a home shortly before 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to a release, the Oshkosh Fire Department was sent to the 1700 block of Mt. Vernon Street around 5:54 p.m. for the reported fire at a two-story wooden frame home.

Officials arrived at the scene and reported all four sides of the home fully on fire, with nobody home at the time; however, multiple pets were killed.
As of 9:10 p.m., officials were still at the scene, with an investigation underway.
