WAUSAU, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials in Wausau say a traffic stop led to a large methamphetamine bust on Monday.

The Wausau Police Department reported the traffic stop on the west side following ‘suspicious activity,’ leading to the deployment of a K-9 unit.

Officials say the K-9 unit conducted an exterior sniff, alerting to potential drugs, prompting officers to search the vehicle and recover a significant amount of meth and other drug trafficking items:
- 780+ grams of meth
- One gun
- Digital Scale
- $2,000 in cash
- Drug trafficking paraphernalia
Hortonville woman sentenced in deadly I-41 wrong-way crash
Two people were arrested, with Lamont Allen accused of methamphetamine possession with intent to deliver at least 50 grams, felony bail jumping, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon.
Sadie Good, the other arrested individual, is accused of being a party to a crime of methamphetamine possession with intent to deliver. Officials are recommending the charges to the Marathon County District Attorney’s Office.
