OCONTO, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Oconto are investigating the cause of a Tuesday afternoon fire that left a garage a total loss.
According to the Oconto Fire & Rescue, crews responded around 3:30 to the 5000 block of Wittock Lane for reports of a possible garage fire.

Officials say the first personnel on the scene were faced with flames and smoke coming from a detached garage and extending to a nearby pickup truck. Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the fire, containing it to just the garage and the pickup truck.
There was no one hurt in the incident, but the garage and the contents inside are believed to be a total loss.
No other information is available at this time, and an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
