LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – An Appleton 59-year-old faces possible attempted homicide charges and strangulation for a disturbance report in Little Chute on Sunday night.
According to the Fox Valley Metro Police Department, officers were called to the 1500 block of Vandenbroek Road around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday for a disturbance between a man and a woman.

The man reportedly fled the scene while the woman was hospitalized for injuries; however, she has since been released.
Officials investigating the incident deemed 59-year-old Rudolf Knapp of Appleton to be the suspect, who has since been arrested on attempted 1st-degree intentional homicide and strangulation charges.
Knapp also faces substantial battery and disorderly conduct charges.
