MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A death investigation is underway after first responders found and recovered a body from a pond in southern Wisconsin on Friday morning.
Around 10 a.m. on March 27, first responders with the Madison Police Department and Madison Fire Department say they responded to the Alliant Energy Center in Madison for a report of a body in Willow Pond.
Officers say the body was removed and pronounced dead.
Police pursuit ends near American Family Field, two felons arrested
The Alliant Energy Center is located on the 1900 block of Alliant Energy Center Way.
An investigation is ongoing. No additional details were provided.
