Officials report that some areas have high snowbanks, reduced visibility, and lower temperatures on Tuesday morning, leaving some other areas icy. Several cars are also being seen stuck in the snow throughout the county.
Thank you to all of our snow removal and towing crews out there in this cleanup effort and to the deputies and other first responders who keep answering the call no matter the circumstances! I am very thankful for all in the community who have come together during this event to help each other out. Without the help of my neighborhood farmers, I would not have made it out to work yesterday. I’m blessed to be a part of Marinette County with so many who look out for each other! Please continue to check on those that are in need in the community today so we can continue to get everybody any help they may need as we dig out.
Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller
Officials ask that anyone out and about on the roadways slow down and use caution when crossing intersections.
