GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Former Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Malik Willis shared a heartfelt message on social media thanking the organization and its fans following his departure from Green Bay.
“Much love and respect to Packer Nation supporting us and me the past two years,” Willis wrote. “It has been awesome upholding the standard for the Green and Gold.”

Willis added that his time in Green Bay was “more than a blessing” and said the relationships he built during his tenure are something he will never forget.
Originally selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, Willis’ early career faced uncertainty. However, his stint in Green Bay helped reestablish his trajectory, as he played meaningful snaps in relief appearances.
Over two seasons with the Packers, Willis appeared in 11 games, throwing for just under 1,000 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions.

His performance earned him a reported three-year, $67.5 million contract with $45 million guaranteed from the Miami Dolphins, where he reunites with former Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley.
Though his time in Green Bay lasted only two seasons, Willis became a fan favorite for his poise and efficiency when called upon.
