Franklin led the NFL in tackles in 2024 with 173, recording another 125 in 2025, while the Packers gave up defensive tackle Colby Wooden.
Pelissero followed up that it likely spells the end of Quay Walker’s time in Titletown, as he is set to hit free agency on Monday.
The trade cannot become official until Monday as well, when the new league year begins.
