OSCEOLA, Wis. (WFRV) – A 52-year-old Oakfield man was hospitalized with serious injuries after going airborne in a crash for which he was arrested for an alleged third OWI offense.
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, the single-vehicle crash was reported just after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday on USH 45 in Osceola.

Deputies found a man outside of his vehicle after being ejected, identifying him as the driver and sole occupant. The man, a 52-year-old from Oakfield, was hospitalized with serious injuries via a Flight for Life rescue.
Deputies say the vehicle was northbound on USH 45 before entering a ditch upon a failed turn, striking an embankment andgoing airborne. The man was also arrested for an alleged third OWI offense.
The area was closed off for about 45 minutes.
