The Latest from Storm Team 5…
What a day it has been to wrap up the work week…really saved the best weather for the last day if you want warmer weather to stick around.
A cold front will be moving through the state this evening and that will cool our tempertaures down steadily this evening but more so overnight. Lows will make there way down into the teens and low 20s, more typical for this time of year.
Plan on a cloudy start to the weekend with highs in the mid 20s. A system passing to our south will bring a chance for snow to the area in the afternoon especially along and south of HWY 29. 1-3″ of snow looks likely south of Appleton, with lower total around an inch or less as you head north. Slippery travel is possible tomorrow afternoon and evening.

Snow will taper Saturday evening, followed by the clouds clearing clearing overnight. Lows will fall into the single digits for Sunday morning. Mostly sunny skies will warm us up into the low 20s Sunday afternoon.
Temperatures will warm into the low and mid 30s for Monday afternoon under mostly sunny skies. The week will turn active with a parade of systems heading toward the area. Some snow is possible Tuesday morning, then we are watching two more systems bringing mainly rain with a wintry mix Thursday morning with a better chance on Friday.
