The Latest from Storm Team 5…
After a fairly cloudy but seasonally warm afternoon, skeis will turn partly cloudy tonight, but a southwest wind will prevent a big drop in temperatures. Plan on lows tonight in the low to mid 20s.
Tomorrow will start mostly cloudy, with more sunshine arriving for the afternoon. A breezy southwest wind gusting to 30 mph at times will push in milder air, with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s. Sadly, a cold front will result in steadly cooling tempertaures during the evening and overnight.
Temperatures will be in the teens Saturday morning and will only manage the low to mid 20s in the afternoon. Skies will be cloudy, with a chance for a passing snow shower in our southern counties.
We get the sunshine back on Sunday, but it will remain on the cooler side of things in the low to mid 20s.
Warmer then normal temeperatures make a quick return for the first week of March. Keep your eyes on a spring time system arriving Wednesday night into Thursday.
