GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Students from four schools in the Greater Green Bay area got the chance to put their skills on display this weekend, all for a good cause.
Students from Leopold, Edison, Washington, and West De Pere built custom pieces to put on display at the Green Bay Home Show inside the Resch Expo.
The pieces on display that were made by the students in partnership with the Brown County Home Builders Association included wooden Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, and other outdoor furniture.
Those age children working in trades and having that hands-on experience of one, doing all that, learning how all of that stuff works, but also getting that experience to have on showcase in a big show like this with attendees and vendors in the trade.

The student projects on display were then auctioned off with the proceeds supporting the Brown County Home Builders Association’s educational programs.
