The latest from Storm Team 5…
Thursday night will experience its return of winter like weather in northeast Wisconsin. An event that starts out as rain will turn towards snow in the morning hours with areas west of the fox valley reaching 3-6″. The Northwoods and the Fox Valley should expect closer to 1-3″ and under 1″ should be the expectation along the lakeshore. Snow will linger farther into the day in northern door county as well as the Northwoods.

Saturday will start off mostly cloudy but light snow does arrive later in the afternoon. The Northwoods will experience this snow closer to noon. Temperatures stay slightly above freezing with daytime highs in the mid 30s.
Sunday begins the new week with drier conditions and mostly cloudy skies. It will be breezy with highs in the lower 30s. Monday will drop to the mid 20s with partly cloudy skies. Tuesday is when we will expect the arrival of the next snow system with some late day snow mix. Highs will reach the mid 30s.
Wednesday and Thursday will be similar to one another with highs in the lower 30s and mostly sunny skies. The following Friday does have the potential to reach the mid 40s.
