WISCONSIN (WFRV) – Police departments in Wisconsin are ‘jokingly’ taking advantage of the Valentine’s Day weekend to request assistance with any known fugitives.

The Horicon Police Department posted on social media, asking people to turn in their ex-lovers if they have a warrant, of course.
“Love fades. But warrants remain eternal,” the post said.
Elsewhere, the Darlington Police Department posted a similar message, with a new version of the classic love poem, Roses are Red.

The post asked people to let them know if they have any ex-lovers with outstanding warrants, and to let them know their location.
“Also, please don’t forget… we need a location, not the whole backstory. No novels, no screenshots, no you won’t believe what they did… messages,” the post said. “Just the address. We’ll handle the rest with matching bracelets.”

The department even joked that its ‘Valentine’s package’ includes free jewelry, food, transportation and stylish orange pajamas.
The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department made a similar post as well.
