MARINETTE, Wis. (WFRV) – Following a nearly week-long search, police in Marinette confirmed Thursday morning that a missing 24-year-old woman has been found dead.
According to the Marinette Police Department, 24-year-old Gabriella Cartagena had last been seen around 5:00 p.m. on February 4 at or around Red Arrow Park.

The search for Gabriella began on February 5th, with police initially stating on Wednesday that she had been “located” and a person of interest was taken into custody on or around February 9.
Police sent out an updated release Thursday morning at 9:07, confirming that police had found Gabriella dead.
No other information is available at this time. Local Five has a crew at a press conference being held by the Marinette Police Department and will update this story as additional details are released.
