The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Clear skies and a light wind will allow temperatures to cool off a bit this evening, falling into the single digits and teens for early tomorrow. More typical for this time of year. Thankfully, the wind will be light so no issues are to be expected ont he wind chill. We may see some patchy fog form around Lake Winnebago and the bay.
Expect a mix of sunshine and clouds tomorrow, meaning more clouds in the morning leading to sunshine in the afternoon. Highs will manage to reach the low and mid 30s in afternoon which will help continue our snow melt. With light winds at night and moisture in the air, expect fog to form for Friday morning.
With temperatures below freezing in the morning, if the fog reaches the surface that could make a few roads slippery. Otherwise, Friday will begin a run of temperatures in the 40s, topping out in the low to mid 40s for the afternoon.
More fog is expected Saturday morning, but that should be the last of it as most of our snow will be gone by Saturday afternoon as highs make it back into the mid 40s to upper 40s, maybe a few spots reaching 50 degrees!
40s to near 50 degree weather continues through Wednesday, and the dry weather will continue until Tuesday night into Wednesday as we introduce a chance for rain showers.
