The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Clouds have begun to show some rays of sunshine this late afternoon, which is a sign the clouds will break apart, leading to a partly cloudy end to the night. Lows will only fall into the teens and low 20s.
Wednesday looks mostly sunny with more clouds across the northwoods. Highs will take a step back topping out in the upper 20s to low and mid 30s. We will keep that breezy west wind around between 10-15mph.
A weak disturbance passing to our south will add more clouds to the mix on Thursday, leading to a mostly cloudy day with highs in the low to mid 30s. It will get foggy overnight as our snow melt gets going and our wind becomes light.
Friday will start foggy but eventually turn to a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low 40s.
Even warmer weather is expected over the weekend with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 40s on Valentines Day and again Sunday. The mild, above average trend continues into the early part of next week.
