MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) – Following his one and only year in Milwaukee, third baseman Caleb Durbin is on the move with the Brewers trading him to the Red Sox for three players in return.
As first reported by ESPN’s Jeff Passan, Caleb Durbin is being traded from Milwaukee to Boston with the Brewers getting a three-player package in return that is headlined by left-hander Kyle Harrison.
Passan reports that in addition to Harrison, the Brewers are also said to be getting infielder David Hamilton and left-hander Shane Drohan in return.

The Brewers acquired Durbin in December 2024 in a trade that sent All-Star closer Devin Williams to the New York Yankees.
Durbin played in 136 games for the Brewers during the 2025 regular season with 131 starts at third base. He finished the season hitting for a batting average of .256 while also recording 114 hits, 11 home runs, and 53 RBIs.
