PINE RIVER, Wis. (WFRV) – On Wednesday morning, firefighters were called to an ‘unusual rescue’ at a farm in central Wisconsin after frozen water lines caused cows to go several days without fresh water.
A Facebook post from the Pine River Volunteer Fire Department states that on January 28, four firefighters were called to a farm in the town when a farmer needed help after his water lines had frozen.
The farmer reported that his cows had already gone several days without fresh water, prompting firefighters to ‘moove’ quickly.
