WAUPACA, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Waupaca are asking for the public’s help in identifying the owner and driver of a vehicle involved in a Monday morning hit-and-run.
According to a release from the Waupaca Police Department, officers responded at 11:44 a.m. to reports of a crash just past the Culver’s on West Fulton Street at Covered Bridge Drive.

One of the vehicles involved in the crash left the scene, but police were able to get a partial image of a trailer being towed by the suspect vehicle. Shortly after the crash, police were able to find the vehicle in the area of Granite Street and North Washington Street.
Officials are now asking for the public’s help to identify the owner and driver of the suspect vehicle. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Waupaca Police Department at 715-258-4400.
