The closure is scheduled for April 30, 2026, with layoffs beginning March 27. A total of 39 employees are expected to be impacted.
Corporate officials said some employees may have potential “bumping rights,” meaning more senior third-shift workers could displace junior employees as operations wind down. Any employees who are bumped would be terminated and become eligible for severance as of March 27.
The company also confirmed it has notified the International Union of Electronic, Electrical, Salaried, Machine and Furniture Workers–Communication Workers of America Local 84101 (IUE-CWA) regarding the closure.
