(WFRV) – On a blistering cold Friday night in Northeast Wisconsin, the rink felt like paradise, even as the Green Bay Gamblers dropped a 3-2 decision to Muskegon.
Green Bay struck first in the opening period, with Andrew O’Sullivan lighting the lamp, but the Lumberjacks answered just seconds later to even the score.
Muskegon grabbed the lead late in the second, scoring with just 15 seconds left before the intermission.
The Gamblers found the net again in the third, but a Muskegon response proved to be the difference as Green Bay fell by one. Goaltender Leo Henriquez turned in a solid night, stopping 23 shots.
