OCONTO FALLS, Wis. (WFRV) – An 18-year-old driver is now dead after their vehicle rolled over due to hitting a deer Friday night in Oconto County.
According to a release from the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at 10:16 p.m. to repoorts of a rollover crash on County Highway B to the south of Busy Nook Road in the Town of Oconto Falls.

Once on the scene, officials say they found the vehicle on its side in the ditch with extensive damage. The prliminary investigation showed that the vehicle hit a deer while going north on County Highway B causing it to lose control and rollover multiple times into the ditch.
The driver, an 18-year-old from Suring, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was taken to a Green Bay hospital where he later died due to his injuries.
At this time, no other information is avaialable and an investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
