GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay mother accused of child abuse for allegedly hitting her kids and leaving her home filled with garbage and unscooped cat urine and feces, appeared in court on Friday morning.
Court records show that 34-year-old Angela Wiercinski was in court with an attorney, as she wanted to address the $10,000 signature bond. The state opposed the order due to the need to notify victims.
A bail/bond hearing is set for Wiercinski at 9 a.m. on December 12.
Green Bay mother accused of child abuse, house reeked of cat urine and feces

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A mother in Green Bay had her signature bond set at $10,000 after authorities arrested her on child abuse charges.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by Local 5, 34-year-old Angela Wiercinski is facing multiple charges related to child neglect and abuse. On October 9, around 11:45 p.m., officers were sent to a residence on State Street for a report of a mother possibly being physical with her children.
Officers knocked on the door and three kids reportedly came out and talked with the officers. The children said their mother, identified as Wiercinski was yelling at them and hit one of them, according to the complaint.
In the complaint, it mentions that when officers went into the home, it smelled ‘heavily’ of cat urine, feces and rotten food. It is alleged that there were dirty diapers, piles of garbage, empty beer cans and dirty clothes throughout the residence.
Officers said the smell of cat urine and feces was so strong it made it hard to breathe.
Wiercinski was found sleeping on a bed, and officers struggled to wake her up. Eventually, she was woken up and reportedly was slurring her words and making incoherent statements.

When told by officers about the reason they were there, she reportedly denied hitting them. She was later put in handcuffs and reportedly resisted officers when they tried to put her into the squad car.
Officers ended up reviewing cellphone video that reportedly showed Wiercinski yelling at the kids and ‘getting physical’ with them.
Wiercinski is charged with:
- Physical abuse of child – intentionally cause bodily harm
- Felony
- Up to six years in prison
- Neglecting a child – consequence is bodily harm
- Felony
- Up to six years in prison
- Neglecting a child – specified harm did not occur and child is under six years old
- Felony
- Up to three and a half years in prison
- Obstructing an officer
- Misdemenaor
- Up to nine months in prison
- Disorderly conduct
- Misdemeanor
- Up to 90 days in prison
Wiercinski was in court on October 10 for her initial appearance. Her signature bond was set at $10,000, and she is scheduled to be back in court on December 5 for a status conference.
