OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and The Grand Oshkosh have announced a partnership that will temporarily relocate The Grand’s performances to campus during the venue’s upcoming renovation.
Beginning this summer, The Grand will move its performances and box office operations to UW-Oshkosh’s Theatre Arts Center, located just minutes from downtown Oshkosh. The center will host a wide range of programming, including music, theatre, dance and community events.

“This partnership reflects what strong communities do—they come together to support one another and ensure that arts and culture remain accessible. While this collaboration benefits both The Grand and the university, the true winner is Oshkosh,” said Chancellor Manohar Singh.
Joseph Ferlo, president and CEO of The Grand Oshkosh, said the collaboration represents more than just a temporary venue solution.
“This new partnership goes beyond offering The Grand a temporary venue,” Ferlo said. “This is an opportunity to strengthen ties between two important cultural institutions in Oshkosh. We’re thrilled to partner with UW-Oshkosh during this period and hope to continue working together long after construction is completed.”
Officials said the partnership is structured to allow The Grand to maintain its full performance schedule while ensuring UW-Oshkosh’s academic programming remains uninterrupted.
In addition to preserving continuity for audiences, the collaboration is expected to increase campus foot traffic, introduce new visitors to university programs and provide experiential learning opportunities for students.
