FREEDOM, Wis. (WFRV) – One of just a handful of Drive-In theaters still operating throughout Wisconsin has announced its opening date for the 2026 season.
According to a post on social media, Freedom’s Field of Scenes Drive-In Movie Theater, located at N3712 State Highway 55, is expected to hold its 2026 opening weekend on Friday, May 22, and Saturday, May 23.
Nearly 72% of Wisconsinites have a REAL ID, why is it important?
While the movies for both opening weekend and the rest of the season remain ‘To Be Determined’ as the venue awaits confirmation on some titles, daily ticket prices, which include a double feature, are set at $8 for adults, $4 for Children (4 to 11-years-old), and free for children 3 and under.
Tickets at Field of Scenes are not available in advance and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations or spot holds, so those hoping to enjoy movies at the drive-in should make sure to arrive early.
More information on what to expect at the drive-in can be found here.
