NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – More than 100 students were recognized Wednesday morning during the annual Neenah Applauding Student Abilities event.
The celebration highlights students of all ability levels, recognizing their achievements and unique strengths. Activities began just after 9 a.m., with games and interactive events following.
“We get, every year, the opportunity to celebrate our students who are differently abled and give them an opportunity to be social and active and interact with a variety of different students as well as the variety of activities that they have,” said Lisa Reimer.
Students from every school in the district attended the event, which focuses on inclusion, community and celebrating individual accomplishments.
