BEECHER, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Marinette County say they seized just over 99 grams of meth during a traffic stop conducted on someone attempting to leave the scene of a disturbance.
According to a release from the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 10:30 p.m. on April 16 to a residence on Dam Road in the town of Beecher for reports of a physical disturbance.
As deputies arrived on the scene, one suspect attempted to flee but was located a short distance away and was pulled over for a traffic stop.

During the traffic stop, K9 Vinny was deployed and alerted to the vehicle, leading to deputies seizing 99.16 grams of methamphetamine as well as other drugs and other drug paraphernalia.
Officials say a 48-year-old woman from Pembine was arrested on several drug-related charges and additional charges related to the initial disturbance.
