CHILTON, Wis. (WFRV) – A widely popular Christmas celebration event in Calumet County is holding one final gathering before calling it a career.
The North Pole Christmas Village says it’s been working tirelessly, but that the upcoming 2026 season will be its last, citing low attendance. The decision was announced via a 5:45 p.m. Facebook post on Tuesday.

“After many sleepless nights, it is with great sadness that this upcoming season will be our last,” the post said. “Due to low attendance year after year, the expenses have become overwhelming.”
The 2026 event will mark the 20th year of the celebration, with all of the items at the North Pole Christmas Village being sold after the event concludes this year.
