The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Rain from Tuesday prompted more evacuations especially along the Wolf River in Shiocton, Weyauwega and the communities surrounding New London.
Unfortunately, we are not able to catch a break as another wave of mositure in the form fof rain and a few storms are possible this evening. Severe threat remains low with a small hail and downpour threat in southern WI. However, any rain now is adding insult to injury and some that see a downpour, especially south and east of Lake Winnebago could pick up an additional inch or more of rain. Most will remain under a 1/2″.
Offically a FLOOD WATCH has been issued for much of northeast Wisconsin until 7am Thursday.

Rain chances will be highest this evening and besides a stray shower or two overnight, the other cocnern will be dense fog forming again. A DENSE FOG ADVISORY has been issued until 10am Thursday morning.

Thursday will start cloudy, foggy and a chance for a stray shower, but plan on sunshine arriving for the afternoon. Highs will be seasonal warm in the 60s to even around 70 away from the water.
A southwest wind will ramp up on Friday under a mix of sunshine and clouds. Higsh will surge into the 70s for most. What has my concern is another round of rain and storms arriving anytime after 6pm. There is a chance for a strong storm in central WI, with a weakening trend expected as it pushes east. Once again, more rain added to the watershed is not good.
Looking dry, cool and breezy for the weekend but we should get back on track next week!
